At about 2:45 Hil woke me up and said "Josh, I think I'm having contractions" I didn't believe her because she's been saying this for a couple of weeks and the doctors have told her that she has nothing to worry about. Boy was I wrong. About 15 minutes later Hil's water broke and we rushed to the hospital. We were too late for an epidural and Hil pushed for about 45 minutes and she was here.
Baby A* is a munchkin at 3 pounds 12 ounces and 15 inches long. About an hour after she was born they took her in to do surgery and put most of the intestines inside. They wouldn't all fit so that's why there is that big white thing sticking out of her stomach.
Hil and the baby are both doing well. We hope and pray it stays that way.

Congratulations! I talked to Brandon at lunch and he told me the exciting news! She actually looks bigger on the picture than I thought she would. Maybe we need to put something next to her to see her compared to something else, then we can get a real idea of her size. Is her hair dark? Adam thinks it's kinda red. She's got great coloring though! She looks great! And long feet :-)
Congrats guys! We're so relieved that all went smoothly and Hil and baby are great. Bed rest is over, Hilary did her job wonderfully.

she is an absolute miracle. she just couldn't wait to get down here to meet her adorable mom & dad. way to go hil--no epidural, you are a trooper! i have been thinking about you ALL DAY, & we're praying for a healthy & quick recovery for baby girl.

Congrats! Even with all the tubes and things I can still see how beautiful she is. I have never in my life seen a baby that tiny! I am glad that everyone is doing well and that labor was so easy for you.
I can't believe she is already here! We just saw you guys 3 days ago!!! No epidural...Hilary you are amazing. Sooooo Cute! We were worried we caused you guys too much stress over the weekend. I think we did! 'Nessa thinks the baby heard us all having fun and just had to join the party. I think she's going to give you trouble in the future "Par-tay in the Hah-oose!" We think she's beautiful, despite all the tubes. We love her!
