When we purchased our home last year, everything was oatmeal-the walls, carpet, tile, linoleum, our couches, and our drapes. We needed a change. We painted our living room:
On Saturday we took Avery on her first hike. We went to Red Rock Canyon with our friends Matt and Becca. Thanks for inviting us! Here are some cute pictures:
Monday was another eventful day! We first went to lunch and bowling with these friends! Owen is so cute.
Monday night we went to Primm for a little staycation. Rooms were only $7.00 a night. They were a little nicer than what I expected, but not too much. We went with these friends. Most everything was closed. So all we could do was shop and eat! Luckily those are my two favorites!!
The pool at the hotel was shaped like a buffalo!
We also bought a new couch. We probably went to every furniture store we could to find it. Poor Josh! He was so sweet to look all around with me! I'll post pictures when its delivered in a couple of weeks!!
It was so nice to have Josh around for the week.

Love the room color!!! I love hiking! Does Josh's back hurt? I could only imagine using a baby bjorn would kill your back to hike in! We should have met up somewhere while we were in St. George...I didnt think of it :( Glad you guys had a good spring break! It was good to talk to you and I can't wait to see you in April!!

What a super fun week! I bet it was nice to have Josh home. And I'm glad that Avery was healthy enough for you guys to take her hiking and such. How fun. Oh, and I love the paint! It looks great.

It was great to have you guys over and start meeting people from the dental school. By the way, Josh got home from school yesterday and said he forgot to tell me about the picnic. Great. This is why I am totally out of the loop.
