She did it!

After many months of working with Avery, she has finally rolled over. Now you might be saying to yourself, "wow, isn't she like 6.5 months." Well folks you are correct, she is almost 7 months. She has rolled over a couple of times in the past, but this morning she rolled over numerous times. We could blame it on the fact that she was born inside out or that she was 6 weeks early, but in reality we blame it on her stubbornness. She does things when she wants to do them...wonder where she gets that from??

At any rate, we are celebrating the mini-milestones of Avery! Next on to sitting up on her own. She is getting close, hopefully next week!

Isn't it so exciting? And scary...man, you can't leave them alone for a second at that point, I swear. But I understand about the stubbornness - Emerie is the same way. About everything. Including eating. She's very good-natured, but if she just wants to fuss instead of eat, she will make you wait 5 minutes until she's ready to do so. :)

Yeah, Avery!! JJ could roll over for a while but he HATED his belly so he wouldnt do it. I even talked to the doctor asking if this was a problem but he said dont' worry. It was about 2 or so weeks ago that he actually started really really rolling around. These stubborn babies are so fun, huh:)

Congratulations Avery! Next step, crawling! She'll get to it when she wants to. Or when you force her ;)

I'm glad you commented on my blog! It's kinda funny because I ran across your blog awhile ago but I never commented because I wasn't sure if you would remember who I was either. Avery is adorable and I'm so glad she's doing so well after her rough start! Yeah, it is pretty amazing how resilient little babies are! And yay for rolling over!
