This past month, I haven't been around much. Avery and I have spent most of it at my parent's house! It has been so nice to escape the Vegas heat. Poor Josh was left alone to go to work, I mean school (school is his work) and study. Avery and I had such a nice visit, we going to do it again in a couple of weeks. This time, Josh will join us.
This trip was to celebrate my grandparent's 50th Wedding Anniversary! Here are some of the adventures from our trip.
Lindsay and I watched a mini marathon of Ace of Cakes. I love that show. It inspired us to make this for our grandparents!

Yummy Marshmallow Fondant. This such is actually edible, unlike the real fondant.

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting...so good!

Avery got in on the action!

Triple Chocolate Cake! Delish...

My grandparents loved it!
Also to celebrate, all the adults in the Arbuckle family went to the Mandarin for dinner. Luckily Lindsay and I made the cut off. It was such a nice evening.

Grandma and Grandpa Arbuckle

John and Kathryn, my mom's sister and husband.

Trish and Travis, another sister of my mom's and her husband.

Emily and Kevin, the baby sister of my mom's and her husband.

Em, Kevin, James (my mom's brother) and Kathryn.

Me, my dad and my mom. Lindsay took and the photos, so I don't have one of her. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Keller for watching Avery not once but twice! You're the best!!
Avery also went swimming with the A* cousins. It was the first time they have all been together, ever!

With cousin Maura. Avery adores her. Maura was so sweet and kind to Avery.

Cute grandma Jana with all the grand kids eating Popsicles on the tramp.

Swimming with Grandma Ruthie at Farmington Pool. Avery LOVED it. It was so funny, she would put her face in the water and come up smiling. I think we have a little water bug on our hands!

Avery loves her uncle Alex. He loves her too, it just kind of hard to tell from the pictures!
I also went to dinner with these lovely ladies. Marci is moving to San Fransisco in a couple of weeks, so we had to say good bye! It was SO nice to catch up with them. I love them! Missed you Emily and Michelle.

What a fun trip! Can't wait to go back in a couple of week.

What a great milestone for your grandparents. Love all the pictures. :) Great update.
That was a great update, even though I was present for part of it! Avery looks like she doesn't mind the water. She's so cute!
I love that cake. That was awesome. I recently just found a recipe for marshmallow fondant and want to try it out. I think you did an awesome job!
