We did so many fun things while in Utah. It was nice to have all of the A* Family together. We went to the Shipley's family cabin in Idaho for five days. It was absolutely beautiful!
The Shipley's have a fun tradition of making a slip-n-slide down their hill. The boys loved it!
We celebrated Kes and Jana's 35th Wedding Anniversary. Isn't my MIL the cutest?
Avery loved to going on walks in the carrier!
We also went to the zoo with my parents. I haven't been to Hogle Zoo for 10 years, things sure look different. It was fun to take Avery. She wasn't quite sure what was going on, but still loved to people watch. (This is her all-time favorite activity, above watching tv and playing with toys!)
One day we took the train to Salt Lake. It was a fun adventure with all the kids. We went to Clark Planetarium, out to lunch and shopped at Gateway!
We saw many friends and celebrated Josh's 26th birthday.
Now its back to school for Josh. 1 year down 3 to go.

Yay for blog updates! I can't believe how old Avery is getting - she's so cute. When are you going to be back up in Utah? We'll have to get together when we can.
Just when I was going to call you and ask if you'd given up on blogging... What's up with the big flower on Ave? It's a good thing that she's so cute she can pull anything off. I hope the next two months go by fast! Keep us all updated!

Love the update! Avery is so dang cute!! Yeah for one year being done! 3 sounds better than 4 years, right:) You guys are such a cute family and it looks like you had such a good summer vacation!!
So glad you were able to come to Utah and be with us. I wish I wouldn't have had to work so much so we could have spent more time together. I'm glad you had fun with the Armstrongs though. Love you all!
It was so fun to see you when you came......and I can't believe how much Avery has changed in that last picture - she's getting so big (well at least growing up)!!!!
