December

I can't believe that it is the new year. After a long break from blogging, I am back.

We had a wonderful holiday season. We had quite a few holiday parties, lunch dates with old friends, a trip to Temple Square, Christmas Eve at Grandma Della's, Christmas morning at my parents' house, cousin grab game at Aunt Mary's, New Year's Eve at Kes and Jana's house.

We were so spoiled this year. Josh totally surprised me by getting me a new dooney (even though he HATES them!). I surprised Josh by getting him a memory foam topper for our bed. Lame I know, but he had mentioned that he wanted it. It was so nice to see all of our families. One thing is for sure, I don't miss the snow. I spent the first week trying to get warm. I have turned into a total wimp! I wasn't the best at taking pictures, but here are a few of our fun!

Temple Square

It was beautiful, but oh so cold. I haven't been that cold in a long, long time!

Meeting Santa

Avery didn't want ANYTHING to do with him. It took about 15 minutes for her to calm down after this encounter! Thanks for the suggestion, Josh!

Breakfast with two of my oldest friends, Kristy and Whitney!

On a totally different note, we attended the Bountiful Temple with all of the Josh's family! While we were waiting for Kes to park, we saw a this local celebrity! Megan recognized him. He was very nice and quiet!

Oh, and lucky you for seeing David Archuleta! My sister-in-law would have died. Or fainted. ;)

I thought I commented on this post. Come to find out I didnt. Sad! Avery is SO dang adorable. Love the pictures. I love where she is crying into you while Santa is trying to give her a present haha! SO glad I got to see you while you were out here!! Loved it!!

To make your pictures bigger here's the tutorial I used.

http://memoriesoncloverlane.blogspot.com/search/label/How%20To%20Make%20Your%20Photos%20Look%20Larger%20On%20Your%20Blog

I change the /s400/ to /s640/

I tried 650 and it wouldn't work so I'd stick with the exact number options she gives:)

Good luck!

I'm playing catchup with blogging friends...but...
--love the Thanksgiving onesie. Made me laugh.
--the spray bottle. They don't get over it. Everytime I cut the kid's hair, they all (yes, Kylie, Peyton, and Porter) fight to see who gets the spray bottle the longest, to drink it. Disgusting, I think.
--love the cheeser smile with your "wacky" hair you call it.
--but love the wavy hair in your Christmas Eve picture. Seriously, you should do that more often. It's cute. Do it!
p.s. have fun on your trip! call me when you get back!!!
