Bows

When I found out that I was pregnant with Avery, I was so excited. Excited to dress a little girl with leggings, dresses and especially hair bows! While I was on bed rest, I started making hair accessories for Avery. They weren't the cutest, but I was still really excited. Avery was born with quite a bit of dark brown hair, enough for a hair bow! Then it started to fall out, not just on the back of her head from rubbing. But all over her head. I was SO sad. I know that is vain, but it is what is (or was). We had a bald baby for about 3 months. Being a first time mom, I didn't realize you could scrub the cradle cap/dry scalp off. Poor Avery looked like a rag-muffin for those three months. Around the time her hair started to grow back in, we saw my mom. She was horrified that we were letting Avery go around like that! Finally her hair came back in and it was no longer dark brown, but blond and curly.

Fast forward to now, I am totally clueless to what I should do with Avery's hair. Its still curly/wavy in the back and rather straight in the front. Most days, she has it in some sort of pony tail. The side pony is our favorite (and easiest!). Last week I was doing some blog stalking and came across this blog. From there I found this site! Immediately I ordered bows for Avery. It was like Christmas when my package came last week. I was so excited. Here are the bows I ordered:

Here's one of the chunk. He's such a sweetheart. Hardly ever cries, but when he does Watch Out. He means business!

He too is losing his hair. I am thinking about buzzing it all off. Has anyone ever tried this?
