She is doing pretty well. Last night we finally got to dress her in real clothes. The outfit is for a preemie but it's still HUGE. It fits pretty well length wise, but it's way to big around. As you can see, she still has the tube going to her stomach. This is to pull bile out because her intestines aren't able to handle it. The doctors say they can hear the bowels moving, but they just aren't working quite yet. Once the bowels appear to be working and she has a bowel movement, she'll start on pedialyte. If she handles that, then she'll be on to breast milk through a bottle!
Yesterday she was weighed, she topped the scales at 4 pounds 1 ounce!! Yeah for Avery.

She loves to blow bubbles, which leads to lots of face cleaning. Her nurse even did her hair! So Cute!! Her neonatologist is guessing she'll be in the hospital for 4 more weeks, 6 total.

She is beautiful! I swear she keeps getting cuter every day. That is fantastic that she has crossed the threshold into 4lbs. The second to last picture is my favorite. Horray for Ave!

I think that she looks like me. Well, she has my nose and my mouth. She has the same shape as Josh's eyes, but they are much bigger than Josh's. The forehead is forsure an Armstrong trait.
