On Monday, Josh received his "white coat." I am not so sure why they receive it so soon, Josh still has 9 more semester until he'll gets the title of Dr. A*. (I think its kind of a joke that dentists are called doctors, so we won't be using the title "Dr. A*" around our house anytime soon!) My parents were able to come down for the weekend. It was great to have them here!

Just as a side note, Avery has RSV. I really wish she didn't!

Congratulations to Josh! He looks particularly happy in that last photo. Sorry to hear about Avery's RSV. I had a weird dream last night that Avery became a big sister when you gave birth to twins. The funny thing was that all the babies were the same size. Weird.
Congrats Josh!! That is such a accomplishment! I think its good that they give them their white coat early...keeps them motivated:) Poor Avery! You guys are in our thoughts and prayers!! Hopefully she feels better soon!!!
Congrats that's so exciting. Sorry Avery's sick.
congrats you three! (because you all are in dental school...right?!) miss you too! i think avery has been through enough, i can't even believe she has rsv. she's a tough little cookie. hope you're doing okay.loves.
congrats! sorry about avery...hope she gets feeling better!
Congrats to your husband! That is too bad the Avery has RSV- super scary! Good luck with his schooling and with avery!
Congratulations Bro! I will be calling you Doctor next time I see you. And I expect you to use that title to it's full extent when Avery gets married and you get to write, "DOCTOR and Mrs. Armstrong are pleased to announce..." on her wedding invitations.
And poor Avery. But she's made it through so much already, she'll probably just chalk this one up to her list of accomplishments in her first year of life. Let's see... survived premature birth. Check. Survived gastroischisis. Check. Survived crazy smoky nurses. Check. Survived RSV. Check. Oh ya, and rolled over, sat up, and yada, yada, all the other stuff babies do too. I think the "I'm a Survivor" song by Destiny's Child should be her theme song. 'Cuz it's awesome: "I'ma suhvievuh! Wha' I'mo trih hahdah! Wha'! I'mnah gon give up Wha'!I'm gunna be strongeh! Wha!..."
yes I'll stop now.
Congrats! I'm so sorry to hear about the RSV. Camden was put in the hospital at 6 weeks old and they thought he had RSV at that point. He had something very similar. He has it again now (not RSV, the bronchiolitis). It is no fun. Good luck! Keep her safe (I'm sure you will.)
Congrats DOCTOR and Mrs!! That's fun Avery got to go with you. Not so fun she's sick. I'm so sorry. I love when you post - I love when you pop up on my feed list! Keep pics coming!
congratulations to dr. armstrong! (we think the dr. is cool, so we'll be calling josh this.) it'll probably annoy him though, so we'll keep it to a minimum. very exciting ceremony, he will be a dentist before you know it!
i'm so sorry to hear about avery's RSV... that is NO fun. and you've been such a valiant mom to keep her nestled in the house. this girl is a tough cookie, i'm sure she'll pull out of it soon.
p.s. i'm planning on purchasing the plane tickets today! april 15-18! yeah!
Congratulations! That is a big accomplishment! It sounds like you guys are doing great except for the RSV, thats no fun. I hope she starts feeling better soon!
congratulations Josh, that's so great for you.
sorry about Avery, that stinks.
Congratulations to the future Dr. Armstrong! :) Do you want us to call him Dentist Armstrong Hil?! hehe How fun that your parents could come down to be with you guys for that special time. I wish you had a picture of Josh in his loupes. I bet he was so excited for them. Are you going crazy with all the stupid expenses that go along with school?
I'm so sorry that Avery is sick. No fun. I hope she gets better. Guess what? Camille is pregnant again, and she wants to name the baby Avery! I told her I absolutely LOVE that name! I told her that she was guaranteed to be beautiful with a name like that :)
I personally thought the 'white coat ceremony' was pretty lame (my white coat quickly became my anatomy lab coat). Everyone kept telling me 'congratulations.' Congratulations for what? That the coat fits? I hadn't done anything yet. The most exciting thing about that whole ordeal was that the guy that put my jacket on me looked just like Columbo. I guess that was deserving of a congratulations. As for Hillary's snide comment about dentists not deserving to be called 'doctor,' we better be called doctor after all we go through!
ps Happy 3/11!
