Last night our stake had a "Ladies Night Out." It was wonderful! We heard from Mariama Kallon. She's from war-stricken Sierra Leone. In her short life, she has witnessed many unspeakable things. It was amazing to hear how positive she is about life after losing almost all of her family. It was just what I needed to hear.

Wow, what an amazing story! I love that she served a mission, too. I can't imagine going through even a fraction of what she did. Thanks for posting about this, I bet it was amazing to listen to her speak in person.
Hilary!!!!
You don't know how much I think about you...I hate how I didn't get to say goodbye to you. I miss Las Vegas very much...it made such an amazing impression on me. I tell everyone how awesome the church, the women, and YOU are. I can't thank you enough for being my friend for such a short time...I loved hanging out. I got pregnant in October and was really sick, but I didn't tell anyone for a while (I hope that explains a little). So sorry...anyway, let's keep in touch always. Next time you are up here (Davis Co.) let me know, I'd love to grab some yogurt or something. Your blog is fun to read, Avery is darling darling darling, and I love decorating and we could talk for hours! Love you! Tiff
I've heard her speak too - I loved it. SO inspirational.
That is an amazing story! I kept thinking about how lucky we are as I was reading it. Sometimes I get so ungrateful for the things I have. Thanks for sharing! I hope you 3 are doing well!
