Countdown to Christmas

For our countdown to Christmas this year, I thought it would be fun to do something everyday. As we do the activities, I think I am enjoying them more than Avery!

December 1st- We attended the Summerlin's Hometown Holiday- It's at a big park and they have a train, horses to ride and in the community center they have different crafts for the kids and cookies to decorate.

December 2nd - While we were home for Thanksgiving, my mom got us an early Christmas present- Elf on the Shelf. Avery loves finding the elf every morning. It's so cute to watch her!

December 3rd- We watched a Christmas movie together. Josh was gone to St. George with friends, so we opted for a very kid friendly movie. Avery LOVES it!

December 4th- We attended A Cowboy Christmas. It was at Floyd Lamb State Park. It was kind of a long drive for a small celebration, but we still had fun. Avery got her face painted and we rode on tractor hayride. We went with a bunch of dental wives, as our husbands were still gone.

December 5th- We watched the First Presidency Christmas Devotional. It was so nice to be reminded about the true meaning of Christmas!

I love this time of year!

Hey! I am on your blog! What a fun surprise!! And I love how you are doing something Christmasy every day. I like that idea, but it sounds like a lot of work for me. It would be great for my kids though.
