Adventure part 2

It has been two week since Avery's potty training began. She's about 90% there. She still wears a diaper for naps and bedtime, but other than she's in undies! Most of the time, she wakes up dry from her naps. She's only woken up dry once overnight. I have talked with friends and most said it has taken quite a bit of time for kids to catch on overnight! I am happy to cross that off the to-do list before baby boy comes.

Speaking of baby boy, I am 30 weeks today. I have had SO many braxton hicks contractions. Last time, I was on bed rest after week 25, so I didn't have too many. I also feel lots more tired this time. I guess a two year old will do it to you! We still don't have a name picked out, nor do we have the nursery ready. We like Truman, Cooper and Mason. Any other suggestions are welcome!!

Avery is still sleeping in the crib, which is the next to do on the list: get Avery a big girl bed. She's so tiny still (32 inches and 24 pounds), I hope she'll be okay in a bed. I want to paint both bedrooms before the baby comes. I have the new bedding. Boy stuff just isn't as cute or fun to shop for as the girls! Looks like Josh will have a really fun spring break in a couple of weeks!

Way to go on the potty training! I am so not looking forward to that. ;) You are such a great mom, I am excited to see your handsome little guy!

Way to go with the potty training! We're still hit and miss, it's entirely my fault. With sick kids the past 2 weeks I just haven't had the energy to do the training.

I like all 3 of your baby names! They all sound nice with Armstrong, but I think Mason sounds (and looks) the nicest...maybe because all the letters in Mason are also in Armstrong?

Good luck getting it all done! There is so much to do to get ready for a baby and it's hard when you're so tired.

How about the name Tate? I like that one. I like the ones you picked out too. Mason is a new one. You guys will know what to name him when he's here. Sounds like we you could use some help when we get there . . .

I think you should definitely name him after the good ol Trums! Remember those days? Ha, I kind of forgot about Truman for a bituntil I read that. I'm sure you will pick something darling! And, you look fabulous!

Congrats on the potty training, Mother of the Year! And I like all the names you listed - you know I have a special place in my heart for "Mason", heck, we could both have one!

Looking good! We like all of your names too. I know most people don't do this, but we also ask our kids to help pick names. That's how we named Maura. It was so cute when Kade said it and it was like he was looking for her and calling for her. So it kinda stuck, even though it wasn't on our list until near the end. Plus it went really well with the middle name we had chosen. I just had to get used to saying it.

Good job Avery too! Gavin could be there, but he thinks wearing a diaper is better. I think it makes him feel "safe." Like he could have an accident and it's ok because it contains it. Maybe if I tell him Avery goes potty it'll help?!
